Parking Rules
at Wafco Mills
Parking at Wafco Mills Condominiums is a finite resource. We rely on our residents to park their vehicles in accordance with the rules so that everyone has a spot.
As a resident you are responsible for ensuring that you and your guests are parked correctly to avoid being towed at your expense without warning.
Bowling Alley Units
Where Can I Park?
Each unit is entitled to park 2 cars on the property. Bowling alley units receive 1 (one) assigned parking space in the common area and 1 (one) parking pad space right outside of their unit.
Additional vehicles need to be parked off the property using street parking on nearby roads. Abide by city regulations to avoid towing and fines.
Stacked Units
Where Can I Park?
Stacked units are allotted 2 (two) parking spots in the common parking area. One of the two will be marked with your unit number, the other will be marked with “Reserved”.
Additional vehicles need to be parked off the property using street parking on nearby roads. Abide by city regulations to avoid towing and fines.
Parking Rules & Reminders
All vehicles parked on the Wafco Mills Condominiums property must have a parking sticker affixed. No exceptions.
Each unit is entitled to park two vehicles on the property. Your first parking space is the pad in front of your unit, or assigned space with your unit number painted on a common lot space. The second parking space is any other parking space painted “Reserved” in the common lot. Additional vehicles must be parked along public streets. Parking pads are never to be blocked, or fenced off for any reason.
Parking is permitted in the lined and lettered spaces only. Parking along curbs on Wafco Lane or Walker Avenue (our private property) is not permitted and subject to tow. Parking on Fulton, W. McGee or Cedar is marked and regulated by the City of Greensboro.
Parking within 4 feet of any driveway is a violation of City Ordinance and may be ticketed, towed, and fined.
Spaces lined with yellow paint and specifically labeled “Mill Building” are for the exclusive use of residents of the Historic Wafco Mills building (not our brick units).
Any vehicle (even with a Wafco Mills parking sticker) parked in a pad or assigned space that is not their own will result in a $100 fine and is subject to be towed.
Who Can Tow Vehicles?
Board members can tow from any location (pad, common lot, assigned, or un-assigned, street or other) on the property.
Owners may tow from their pads or assigned (unit number painted) common lot spaces.
Tenants may call the towing company and request a patrol of the parking lot. Tenants are not authorized to direct towing of any specific vehicle or from any specific space, and are subject to financial liability of the towing fee, and $100 fine.
Replacement stickers are $25 each. Stickers reported to be lost or missing are recorded and will be towed if found in use on the property.
