Important Update: Brickwork Repairs Starting at Wafco Mills – 805 W McGee St. Units
Dear Wafco Mills Community,
We want to provide an update on the brickwork repairs by Grandeur USA at Wafco Mills, originally scheduled to begin on Friday, April 11, 2025. Unfortunately, rain on Friday prevented contractors from starting, and on Monday, April 14, vehicles were still parked in designated work areas—despite multiple prior communications—causing further delays. These setbacks have impacted the HOA, as contractors have had to shift to other jobs.
We are now hopeful that work will commence this Thursday, April 17, 2025, focusing on the 805 building on W McGee St., addressing window wells, steps, and stoops. To ensure a smooth start, physical blocks have been placed in the areas where contractors will be working. Owners must immediately notify tenants to relocate vehicles and clear porches/patios in the 805 building and keep these areas clear until further notice. Any cars or items remaining when work begins will incur fines, and disruptions may last approximately one month. Please visit WafcoMills.com News and Events Page for full details and share this information with tenants.
For everyone’s safety, we ask residents to exercise caution near construction zones once work begins and to communicate with workers kindly and professionally if needed. This project is critical to preserving our HOA property’s integrity and value, and we are committed to minimizing disruptions while ensuring its completion.
For Owners and Residents of 805 W McGee St.:
Vehicle Relocation: Move all vehicles away from work areas around the 805 building starting April 17 and keep them relocated until the project is complete.
Porch and Patio Clearance: Remove all items from ground level brick floored porches and patio areas in the 805 building and keep these spaces clear throughout the project.
Safety First: Exercise caution when walking near construction zones and interact with workers respectfully.
For Owners with Tenants in 805 W McGee St.:
Please notify your tenants of these updates and their responsibilities regarding vehicle relocation and porch/patio clearance. Share this notice or direct them to WafcoMills.com for details.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologize. If you have questions or concerns, please contact me at WeLoveWafcoMills@gmail.com. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Wafco Mills a wonderful place to call home!
Warm regards,
